DeepSurface Security Joins Microsoft Intelligent Security Association

The automated risk analysis and prioritization platform integrates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint automatically importing vulnerability information across Microsoft platforms

Portland, Ore. September 13, 2022DeepSurface Security, the award-winning, automated risk analysis and prioritization company, today announced that DeepSurface RiskAnalyzer is in now integrated with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and is a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA).

DeepSurface Security is one of the first risk-based vulnerability management platforms that helps cybersecurity teams automate the process of analyzing and prioritizing vulnerabilities on enterprise networks. Created by a team of cybersecurity experts, DeepSurface is trusted by enterprise companies to identify, prioritize, and research vulnerabilities in their networks. DeepSurface considers more than 50 attributes of an environment to contextualize vulnerabilities (and chains of vulnerabilities) within an organization’s unique infrastructure, predicts where an attacker could cause the most damage and shows users how to fix it.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Microsoft, providing this new functionality that allows teams to quickly and easily import data from Microsoft Defender for Endpoint into DeepSurface,” said James Dirksen, co-founder and chief executive officer at DeepSurface. “Joining MISA and this integration with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint allows customers to quickly reduce the risk of a cyberattack on their organization by giving them more complete insight into their threat stance.”

“Members of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, like DeepSurface, offer solutions that supercharge defense work against a world of increasingly sophisticated, fast-moving threats. The integration of Microsoft 365 with their solutions allows us to work together to help customers navigate the security landscape,” according to Rob Lefferts, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Defender.

Founded in 2017, DeepSurface is one of the first fully automated platform that collects all needed context from an organization’s network, analyzes all vulnerabilities for exploitability using that context, and then prioritizes all vulnerabilities by risk to the organization. DeepSurface customers include financial service providers, public utilities, legal services, SaaS providers and higher education.
